What do you do for BWBacon?
As an Account Manager and New Business Development Manager, I act as a product owner to my clients, ensuring that we deliver great service and people. This requires that I have an intimate understanding of our client’s product(s), services, technology stack and culture, it’s awesome!
Why did BWBacon decide to participate in Colorado Startup Brews?
We had so much fun last year and Startup Brews offers a fun and unique way to team-build, connect with the startup community, and be creative all in one shot. Why wouldn’t we do it again?!
Tell us about the beer styles you are submitting this year.
After a wildly successful showing of our Bacon & Bourbon Smoked Red Ale in our first ever CO Startup Brews last year, this year BWB is sweetening it up a bit and submitting a Maple Bacon Smoked Red Ale. We added a Maple element to our beer and are calling it: Sweet Child of Swine Ale. Our beer is a malt forward ale and as always, designed to emphasize both the sweet and savory treat of, you guessed it — BACON!
The name, Sweet Chile of Swine Ale, hails from our Big Hair Days and Party Piggish Ways. We’re celebrating this beer in honor of all the Guns N’ Roses fans out there.
What do you plan on doing with this year’s championship trophy if you win?
We will start by drinking some “Sweet Child of Swine Ale” out of the trophy! From there, we’ll march with it down 16th Street Mall like it’s the Stanley Cup. Once it makes it home to BWBacon headquarters, we will sing the epic “Sweet Child O’ Mine” and place it alongside our other many trophies for pig-excellence in our ‘Swine Shrine’, where it will live forever behind a bullet-proof glass case.
