How many people from your team are helping to brew your competition beer?

What beer(s) are you brewing?

We brewed an India Brown Ale. Collectively, these are two of our offices’ favorite styles, so it made it easy to combine them! This brew has a host of warrior and vanguard hops throughout the boil so there is plenty of the ‘India’ in here, as well as a chunk of brown sugar and chocolate malt to make certain the ‘Brown’ doesn’t get left behind. The final ABV should end right around 6.9%.

Have you brewed your own beer before?

If you have brewed before, how long have you been brewing?

4 years

How did the brewing process go?

Besides forgetting to purchase approximately half the ingredients on the first trip to the store, brewing went well! Once the sun came out, we realized that standing close to a boiling pot of wort wasn’t the coolest place to be on a sunny Sunday.

Where did you brew your competition beer?

A friend’s backyard/makeshift nano-brewery

Why were you interested in participating in this year’s event?

I heard such positive feedback from some of last year’s participants and attendees, we had to get in.

Where is your favorite place to grab a beer with your coworkers?

We split time between Emilio’s(RIP!!), Freshcraft, and Park & Co.
