A Yet To Be Named White IPA: OG 1.05, FG 1.014, ABV ~4.7%

Have you brewed your own beer before?

Yes

If you have brewed before, how long have you been brewing?

6 months

How did the brewing process go?

I made a White IPA from a recipe a few months ago that was glorious, and the equivalent of hop-laced angels singing drinking songs directly into your ears.

I went sideways on the recipe and tried to clone from ingredients at my local brew supply store and ended up with all different everything and the wrong kind of hops.

But, early sampling is that it tastes delicious and isn’t an overpowering IPA – is a great summer session patio IPA.

Where did you brew your competition beer?

My car hole.

Why were you interested in participating in this year’s event?

I had just gotten into brewing, and just gotten into the startup scene. I have an overall success rate of 75% – meaning that three of the four beers I brewed were excellent.

I don’t like to talk about the bad one.

Where is your favorite place to grab a beer with your coworkers?

Parry’s Pizza in Highlands Ranch or Falling Rock Taphouse.

Any additional comments?

I may bring a second beer to share for tasting that won’t be done in time for judging. This depends on how thirsty I get.
